In a unexpected partnership that defies traditional predictions, the game developer has unveiled an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, including free additional story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Adventure Disclosed

According to the official announcement, "An unusual meeting pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where hints of prohibited practices and terrifying changes echo through the obscurity." The plot introduces a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a clandestine group.

The mission concentrates on "peculiar tests and a monstrous foe" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Iconic Locations and Metamorphoses

The preview showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview ends with a powerful moment showing a character, likely the prisoner, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Items and Additional Features

Players who finish the adventure will receive an exclusive katana together with multiple objects hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:

Latest Free Story Update

This release also brings the game's third complimentary story addition, titled "The Enigma."
